Parsons Paris erbjuder såväl kortare sommarkurser som Study Abroad-terminer och Bachelorprogram.

Sommarkurser

Study Abroad: 1-2 terminer

Under en eller två terminer är du välkommen att söka till Parsons Paris unika Study Abroad-program där du själv väljer de kurser du vill läsa. För att bli antagen krävs att du har läst minst ett år på högskolenivå. Du väljer Studio or Non Studio Concentration och kan plocka kurser från flera olika ämnesområden. Certificate - 2 år

Ett- till tvåårigt program för dig som redan har en utbildning inom konst eller design. Kanske vill du jobba fram en riktigt bra portfolio att använda när du söker attraktiva tjänster, eller använda studierna på Parsons Paris för att inspireras och nå nya kreativa mål. Du kan välja att speciliasera dig inom Management of Design, Photographic Arts, Studio Arts, Illustration Arts, Textile Arts, General Fashion Studies and Visual communications. Förberedande - Atelier of Art

Atelier of Art är ett förberedelseår för dig som önskar läsa vidare på Parsons Bachelorutbildning. Det är en intensivkurs som lär ut grunderna inom konst och design för att förbereda studenten inför universitetsstudier inom ämnet. Detta vänder sig till studenter som har lite eller ingen utbildning inom detta område. Det är detta som Atelier of Art betyder, att få tillgång till kunskapen som behövs för högre studier inom konst och design. Parson Paris var först med att inrätta en tvåspråkig undervisning med l’atelier préparatoire aux grandes écoles d’art et de design – universitetsförberedande kurs för konst och design. Kursen har en intensiv språkundervisning: är man fransktalande ska man lära sig perfekt engelska och har man annat modersmål ska man lära sig bra franska. Detta vidgar studentens möjligheter för att gå fortsatta studier både på franska skolor och engelsktalande skolor. Studenter som går denna utbildning brukar gå vidare till Parsons Paris Bachelor of Fine Arts i antingen England eller USA, men även till the grandes écoles d’art et de design i Frankrike. Bachelor Degree - 4 år

Du kan välja mellan följande ämnesområden:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts med följande inriktningar: Communication Design, Illustration, Fashion Design, Fine Arts och Photography.
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Design Management.

Foundation Year (år 1 på Bachelor of Fine Arts)

Oavsett vilken inriktning du väljer (förutom Photography och Design Management) består de två första gemensamma terminerna av följande kurser:

Du kan påbörja ditt Foundation Year i augusti eller januari. Väljer du att starta i januari kommer utbildningen att vara mer intensiv och terminerna går då från januari till mitten av maj. Därefter en veckas ledighet innan du går in på termin två som håller på till slutet av juli. Det innebär att oavsett när du startar ditt Foundation Year kommer år 2 (Sophomore Year) att påbörjas i september.

Kurspriser 2012

Bachelor och Certificate: 24800 EUR, ca 218736 kr, per år. Det finns stipendium att söka för att hjälpa till och betala denna kurs. Svenska studenter brukar ofta beviljas detta stipendium.

Study Abroad: 24800 EUR, ca 218736 kr, per år.

Atelier of Art: 13000 EUR, ca 114660 kr, per år.
